15-second brief
  • AssetMark added two private equity interval funds to its private markets platform, bringing the shelf to six funds spanning private credit, real estate, infrastructure and private equity.

  • Advisors using certain professionally managed portfolios can add private markets through AssetMark's goals-based strategies, which carry a $250,000 minimum.

AssetMark added two private equity interval funds to its private markets platform, bringing the shelf to six funds spanning private credit, real estate, infrastructure and private equity. The additions are the Calamos Aksia Private Equity and Alternatives Fund and the StepStone Private Equity Strategies Fund, per Wealth Solutions Report's monthly investments roundup.

Advisors using certain professionally managed portfolios can add private markets through AssetMark's goals-based strategies, which carry a $250,000 minimum. That $250,000 minimum, not the fund menu, determines which households can hold private equity inside a managed portfolio.

Both new funds can be held standalone or within the platform's managed portfolio solutions, including unified managed accounts, so the private sleeve does not have to sit outside the rest of the allocation. AssetMark reported more than $180 billion in assets across its platforms as of June 30, serving more than 10,000 advisors and more than 340,000 households.
