20-second brief
  • Coatue, Ares and D. E. Shaw also filed zero-sold offerings; Buccaneer and Almanack reported fully sold funds.

  • Coatue filed CT 181 LP and COATUE CT 182 LLC, both private equity with undisclosed offering amounts and nothing sold.

  • On the sold side, Buccaneer Topco, LLC reported $55.0M offered and $55.0M sold, with a first sale on Oct.

On Oct. 20, 8VC filed a $20.4M venture capital offering with nothing sold, while Bregal Sagemount reported an $80.8M co-invest fully sold with an Oct. 6 first sale. The filings were part of the Oct. 19–20 batch of private-fund notices on EDGAR.

Coatue filed CT 181 LP and COATUE CT 182 LLC, both private equity with undisclosed offering amounts and nothing sold. Ares filed Ares Senior Direct Lending Core BYOT Master Fund LP, undisclosed and unsold. D. E. Shaw filed All Country Global Alpha Plus Offshore Fund, L.P. with an undisclosed amount and nothing sold. Eclipse filed SPV XXXVII, L.P., a $10.0M venture offering, also at zero.

On the sold side, Buccaneer Topco, LLC reported $55.0M offered and $55.0M sold, with a first sale on Oct. 2. Almanack Opportunity Fund - Series 8 sold its full $9.5M. Astro Investment X, a series of Astro Funds LLC, reported $4.5M sold against a $4.5M offering, with a first sale on Oct. 19 and a filing the next day.

V360 Holdings LLC generated four filings in two days. Three Duke Capital Partners series — 2609A at $321K, 2609B at $1.1M, 2609C at $530K — were sold to the full offering amount, with first sales between Sept. 21 and Sept. 29. The fourth, Chiltern Ventures Football Fund 1, appeared on Oct. 19 at $150K with nothing sold.

A sold figure needs the offering amount for context. Brown Advisory Investors 2026 - DRA XII, LLLP reported $3.5M sold against an undisclosed offering amount, first sale Oct. 14, and named Brown Advisory Investment Solutions Group LLC as a related person. 1517 Fund - SPV V, L.P. reported $10.0M sold against an undisclosed offering amount, first sale Aug. 18. Without a disclosed offering amount, a sold figure does not show the vehicle is full.

Astro, Almanack, Duke and Chiltern each filed as a series within a parent LLC or fund. One manager can appear on EDGAR as separate line items at different stages with different sold totals; the first-sale date is what separates them.
