Osaic said Tuesday morning it recruited ICG next, a New Jersey-based advisory team with $2.3 billion in client assets, from LPL Financial. The team is led by managing partner James A. Costabile and includes about 21 financial advisors along with client service and operations employees.

ICG next has nearly tripled in size since 2019 and plans to keep expanding through organic growth, advisor recruiting and acquisitions, the release says. Costabile described the move as a search for scale: "As we thought about what's next for our clients, our advisors and our business, we wanted a partner that understood what makes ICG next distinctive while giving us the scale and support to reach our strategic objectives."

LPL added a $1 billion Seattle team, Prince Financial Services, from Northwestern Mutual on Oct. 14, this publication reported. LPL had $819.1 billion in regulatory assets as of Oct. 17, per WAD's records, putting the $2.3 billion departure at about 0.3% of the total.
