Docupace launches Next 1.0; Focus Financial names Nevis its AI platform

Docupace says existing workflows and document history carry forward, while Focus made an undisclosed but “significant investment” in Nevis.

At a glance

20-second brief
  • Docupace says Next is built around reusable contact records and structured relationships, so firms enter or synchronize information once and reuse it as a universal client master across custodians, accounts, workflows, documents and connected systems.

  • In the same roundup, Focus Financial Partners and advisory AI company Nevis announced a strategic partnership that makes Nevis the enterprise AI platform across Focus and its subsidiaries.

Docupace has launched Docupace Next 1.0, a rebuilt wealth operations platform hosted on AWS, WealthManagement.com reported in its Oct. 16 WealthStack roundup. The company says the platform gives advisory firms a foundation for new agentic capabilities, plus efficiency and scalability improvements.

Docupace says Next is built around reusable contact records and structured relationships, so firms enter or synchronize information once and reuse it as a universal client master across custodians, accounts, workflows, documents and connected systems.

New capabilities include associating a contact or relationship across multiple accounts, consolidated e-signature that merges documents tied to multiple work items into a single signing packet, guided account opening for the custodians Pershing, NFS and Axos, a public GraphQL API for developers, and surveillance and compliance oversight tools.

Docupace describes Next as an evolution rather than a rip-and-replace experience for existing customers, with workflows, document history, surveillance and compliance controls carrying forward.

“We have built a modern enterprise foundation with client data at its core,” CEO Brian Filanowski said in the announcement.

In the same roundup, Focus Financial Partners and advisory AI company Nevis announced a strategic partnership that makes Nevis the enterprise AI platform across Focus and its subsidiaries. Focus made an undisclosed but “significant investment” in Nevis’ wealth management technology.
