Hightower Signature Wealth announced a deal to add Synergy Capital Solutions, a Bloomfield Hills, Mich., RIA with $1 billion in assets under management, per WealthManagement.com. The announced deal would push the nearly year-old W-2 channel past $40 billion in AUM across more than 160 advisors and 35 locations, and would be its sixth affiliate advisor addition and fourth external acquisition.

The announced deal would bring 15 employees to Hightower Signature Wealth, seven of them advisors; Synergy also has offices in Naples, Fla., and Lebanon, Pa. Synergy has been a Hightower partner since 2017, and co-founder, CEO and chief investment officer Mark Burns said in a statement the move gives the firm a "stronger foundation to carry on the legacy we have created over the past 42 years."

Jennifer Frazier, appointed in September as the division's first president, said in a statement that Synergy's philosophy is one the channel shares. Frazier had previously been a partner at Dallas-based Frontier Investment Management, which seeded the channel in October 2025.

CEO Larry Restieri launched the division about a year ago; last January Hightower announced five partner firms had joined, not counting Frontier.
